These are essentially "re-keystrokes".
These were carried out between the 1920s and 1936.
The 50 Gold Mexican Pesos is known for her beauty and high quality. With a total weight of 41.67 grams, it contains 37.5 grams of pure gold.
Its obverse represents a goddess, symbolizing the victory, with in background the two famous volcanoes of Iztacihuatl and of Popocatepetl.
The back is engraved of the national emblem of Mexico, a eagle holding a snake in its mouth, perched on a cactus, with the words “Estados Unidos Mexicanos” engraved in the center.
